Description
Mindful Movement in a Sedentary World
People, especially women, always put their own self care on the back burner because of the demands of their career, spouses, children and life. They are overworked, under-appreciated and walking around in pain (sometimes so used to it they don’t even realize it). Our speaker, Rebecca Tamm, will take the attendees through a short movement series that they can do virtually anywhere.
Rebecca is a massage therapist/bodyworker/movement ninja/educator who helps people realize that self care isn’t indulgent but a necessity. She gives them the tools to (literally) take matters into their own hands when it comes to developing a movement practice.
The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College. Doors open at 7:45 a.m.
Please contact Brenda Meller at mellerbrenda@gmail.com for information or questions associated with the Troy Affinity Group, or if you are a member of Inforum interested in speaking at this group.
The Troy Affinity Group encourages members to Pay-It-Forward by paying half of a nw member’s membership fee. If you are interested in the Pay-It-Forward program please contact Laura Rolands at rolands@wideopenwest.com.
