Description
Continuing on the forestry theme from September, we will be reading Harry’s Trees by Jon Cohen (432 pages). This novel entwines reality and magic to tell the story of a friendship between a grieving employee of the US Forest Service and a teenager who lost her father. Characters include a feisty librarian, a Wolf, and a red-tailed hawk. Many of the reviews I found likened it to “My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry” by Fredrick Backman (which is another great book by an amazing author).
Please join us at Brewery Vivant to discuss this uplifting fairy tale.
