"Your Cycle of Professional Change: How Do You Get Unstuck?"

Change in life is an inevitability from both a professional and personal perspective. From a professional standpoint, you may go through many changes and transition smoothly. However, sometimes you may get stuck and don’t know which way to go or who to turn to for assistance in order to get “unstuck” e.g. find another career, position, employer, go in to business for yourself, or maybe you just need to do some skills-building to figure everything out. This practical panel presentation will guide you through the steps of getting “unstuck” at your current job level by helping you look inward and assess yourself and look outward at your networks with the potential to use coaching and mentoring resources to figure out where you need to be.

Susan S. Hawkins, FACHE, senior vice president, Population Health, Henry Ford Health System. Susan is responsible for providing administrative leadership in the development and implementation of a system-wide approach to population health, with the aim of driving improved outcomes and experiences at a lower cost. Sondra Pedigo is vice president of marketplace and regulatory business integration in the Office of National Health Reform for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She joined BCBSM in 2001 as part of its efforts to comply with HIPAA regulation. Throughout her career there, she has had a diverse set of experiences in information technology, individual business, product development, and corporate marketing.
