Brian Dunn, COO of JR Automation

Brian Dunn is the Chief Operating Officer of West Michigan based JR Automation, a world leader in the design, development and implementation of Automation Systems, including Robotic Assembly, Test and Welding Cells. Brian graduated with a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1992 and received a MS in Finance from Walsh College in 2005. For more about Brian click here

Dana Komin, Global Manufacturing Chief Engineer-Advances Vehicle Development for General Motors

Dana started working for General Motors at the Baltimore Assembly Plant as a college co-op student. She spent the next 14 years at that facility working in engineering, maintenance and production. In most of her leadership roles, she was the first woman to hold those positions in the plant. In September 2016, Dana was appointed GM’s Global Manufacturing Chief Engineer for Advanced Vehicle Development. Yue Qi, Associate Professor at Michigan State University

Dr. Yue Qi is an associate professor in the Chemical Engineering and Materials Science Department at Michigan State University. She received her Ph.D. in Materials Science from California Institute of Technology in 2001. She was a co-recipient of 1999 Feynman Prize in Nanotechnology for Theoretical Work during her Ph.D. study. For more about Yue click here.

Moderator, Shelley Irwin, Radio Host/Producer

Shelley Irwin is the host and producer for The WGVU Morning Show, a newsmagazine talk-show format on the local NPR affiliate Monday through Friday.
