In November, the Women on the Move Affinity Group will become a Book Club! Well, not forever, just for this month …

Join us as Jennifer Romolini, author of, “Weird in a World That’s Not – A Career Guide for Misfits, F*ckups, and Failures,” discusses her book via video conference from Los Angeles. 

An honest, sharp-witted, practical guide to help you get and keep the job you want—from an outsider who has been there and done it, a woman who went from being a broke, divorced, college dropout to running some of the biggest websites in the world.

Jennifer Romolini is the former Chief Content Officer at Shondaland.com, a website founded by television producer Shonda Rhimes.  She was also previously the editor-in-chief of HelloGiggles and Yahoo Shine, and the deputy editor of Lucky Magazine.  Her work has appeared in Elle.com, The New York Times, Lenny Letter, and as she puts it, many magazines that no longer exist.

10 copies of WIAWTN will be in circulation at September’s Women on the Move meeting and circulated again at October’s meeting, so please be ready in November with your weird and not-so-weird questions!

Please plan to park in the lot in front of the building which can be accessed from Lakeview Drive (the road running between the Bank of America Building at 2600 W Big Beaver and Somerset Collection North).   The entrance to the building is under the portico adjacent to the parking lot.

Women on the Move Affinity Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. except during holiday weeks
