SE Women on the Move Affinity Group

We're going to have some fun at the September meeting as our speaker, Tina Kefala-Pitsillos helps us explore our personal style when it comes to clothing. Have you ever opened your closet and had that dreaded thought, "What do I wear to the interview… casual Friday…work outing… training… board meeting … speaking engagement, etc.?" Tina will help us sort out the answers to these questions and help us develop our own personal style. Tina believes, "Fashion is not only to make a woman look beautiful on the outside…it is to make her feel beautiful and confident on the inside."

Tina Kefala-Pitsillos, Stylist + Team Leader, WORTH New York

A lifelong "Fashionista," Tina's burning passion for design, specifically architecture and fashion, led the former banker and entrepreneur to the fashion industry. Born in Greece, when she was one-year-old, Tina and her family moved to Germany. She lived in Germany until 2016 when she immigrated to the U.S. to live with her American husband. Tina took the move as an opportunity to concentrate on becoming a leading female fashion stylist, a major career change. Tina was recently promoted to Team Leader for the female fashion brand WORTH New York.

Tina studied economics at DIA, University of Freiburg, and went on to have a very long and successful career at one of the largest financial institutions in Germany, Post Bank, in Stuttgart. Extremely independent and entrepreneurial, Tina walked away from her Postbank corporate career in 2003 to start what would become a very successful business in real estate management, where she blended her economic experience with her passion for architecture.

Tina speaks three languages – Greek, German and English. She has visited over 36 countries around the world and currently lives in Birmingham, Michigan, with her husband Steven…where more than 25% of their home is full of clothing!

Please plan to park in the lot in front of the building which can be accessed from Lakeview Drive (the road running between the Bank of America Building at 2600 W Big Beaver and Somerset Collection North).   The entrance to the building is under the portico adjacent to the parking lot.

Women on the Move Affinity Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. except during holiday weeks.
