Please join us as Kay Thayer leads the discussion about behavior and personality in an easy and fun format! We will discuss:

• Where these individuals fall on the introvert/extrovert spectrum as we look at the influence of both types of personality.
• How introverts and extroverts differ from each other.
• Where we fall on the introvert/extrovert spectrum.
• How we can work to understand others who are opposite of us.

Understanding ourselves and others is the gateway to working and living well with others, communicating effectively and resolving conflict.

About the speaker:

Kay Thayer is currently the Assistant General Manager of Human Resources for Sumitomo Wiring Systems, USA in Novi, Mi. For 15 years, she has been in charge of Human Resources for this Japanese Auto supplier. More recently, she has headed and developed internal training programs for the Sumitomo Electric Group of 25 Sumitomo companies in the US. She also works with the Global HR Planning department in the Osaka, Japan headquarters, writing and editing global standard and guidelines for Sumitomo companies worldwide. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Oakland University and a Master of Science Degree in Business from Central Michigan University.

Please plan to park in the lot in front of the building which can be accessed from Lakeview Drive (the road running between the Bank of America Building at 2600 W Big Beaver and Somerset Collection North).   The entrance to the building is under the portico adjacent to the parking lot.

Women on the Move Affinity Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. except during holiday weeks
